The Jacksonville State Gamecocks men's basketball team is the men's basketball team that represents Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. The school's team currently competes in the Ohio Valley Conference. They are coached by Ray Harper. During their time as a member of Division II, they were National Champions in 1985.

NCAA Division II tournament results

The Gamecocks have appeared in the NCAA Division II Tournament eight times. Their combined record is 17–8. They were National Champions in 1985.

NCAA Division I tournament

On March 4th, 2017, the Gamecocks advanced to the NCAA Tournament with a 66-55 win over UT-Martin in the OVC Championship. This was their first ever D1 conference championship, and only their second year with 20 or more wins.
