It Ain't Over is an album by the British band The Outfield, released to their fan club. It was their first album of all new material for six years, since 1992's Rockeye, and was also their debut album on the 'Warning Tracks' label. (With the exception of the title track "It Ain't Over," all of the songs also appear on the subsequent release Extra Innings.) Dave Harris, who managed the band in 1998, and host of Retro rewind revealed this on his show in 2004: "A lot of the songs on "It Ain't Over" were from the archives. These were songs that John and Tony had recorded years earlier and I convinced them to gather them so that we can go through them and put it out for eager fans. John and I chose the songs for release, a process that took a few months. We mastered them in Nashville in August 1998 and decided to release it on our own label. We printed up about 2000 copies and sold them at the shows on the 'It Ain't Over tour' in 1998. So needless to say this incarnation of the CD is a collectors item."
