Istvan Szil (born 1961, Dombovar, Hungary) is a visual artist who lives and works in New York City under various pseudonyms, e.g., Istvan Szili, Istvan Szilasi., crossingthetsdottingtheis.

He is one of the founders of the Ujlak Group(1989–1995) in Budapest .
