Islamic monarchies are a type of Islamic state which are monarchies. Historically known by various names, such as Mamlakah ("Kingdom"), Caliphate, Sultanate, or Emirate, contemporary Islamic monarchies include:

  • Sultanate of Brunei
  • Monarchies of Malaysia
  • Kingdom of Morocco
  • Sultanate of Oman
  • State of Qatar
  • Kingdom of Bahrain
  • Kingdom of Jordan
  • Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
  • Emirates of the United Arab Emirates
