Is This Legal?: The Inside Story of The First UFC from the Man Who Created It is a 2014 non-fiction book on the creation of Ultimate Fighting Championship. It is co-authored by Art Davie, the founder of the UFC, and Sean Wheelock. The origin of the tite of the book comes from a question actor Chuck Norris asked Art Davie. It chronicles the period October 1989 through November 13, 1993 when Davie worked on the first UFC event. The book also recounts Davie's military service after attending New York Military Academy, where he roomed with classmate Donald Trump for a semester.
