Ion Göttlich

Ion Göttlich is a fictional Italian cyclist created by Claudio Pavan who has gained a significant presence online. In March 2016 Ion had over 34,000 Facebook followers and over 900 Twitter followers. Ion has been said to resemble the Incredible Hulk. Posts on Ion's Social media typically include the animated character posing in photos with pro cyclists along with videos. It is claimed that Ion wins pretty much everything he enters although a video was posted on Ion's Facebook page on 4 March 2016 showing Ion at the 2015 Tour of Flanders in which he appears to be very angry as a result of a mechanical problem with his bike.
