Iolaus silanus, the three-tailed sapphire, is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Kenya, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The habitat consists of forests.

The larvae feed on Agelanthus subulatus and Agelanthus sansibarensis.
