Iolaus aequatorialis is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Zambia, north-western Tanzania, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Sankuru) and Gabon.
The larvae feed on Phragmanthera usuiensis and Phragmanthera polycrypta subglabriflora.
