The Inyo shrew (Sorex tenellus) is a species of mammal in the family Soricidae.
Distribution
It is endemic to eastern California and to Nevada, in the Western United States.
Until 2006, the known range of this species encompassed east-central California and west-central Nevada, but it has since been found in Great Basin National Park in eastern Nevada and in Lassen Volcanic National Park in northeastern California.
