The Inverclyde Group is a Carboniferous lithostratigraphic group (a sequence of rock strata) in southern Scotland and northernmost England. The name is derived from Inverclyde. The group comprises sandstones with limestones and dolomites and some mudstone and lesser amounts of siltstone.
