"Into You" is the third single by American rapper Fabolous from his second studio album Street Dreams. It is also on Tamia's album More. It reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the second single from the album to reach the top 10 after top 10 single, "Can't Let You Go". The song stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 throughout the year 2003 and finished at number 23 on the charts.

Contents

The song features R&B artist Tamia for the single, and Ashanti for the album version. It samples the chorus of Tamia's song "So Into You" produced by Tim & Bob from her 1998 album Tamia, which samples Commodores' song "Say Yeah". On the re-released version of the Street Dreams album, both the Tamia and Ashanti versions appear on the album, with Tamia's version being a bonus track.

While many songs that Fabolous produces projects women as objects to men, this single was for his female fans. In the single he goes against the common misogynistic view against women that many artists in the early 2000's have and artist today still have by letting the woman know that she isn't just another woman to him and that he actually wants to be with her, and that she wants to be with him, even after she see's his past faults as a man.

Music video

The music video shot for the single is 4 minutes and 20 seconds long and was originally supposed to have Ashanti in it, but because of scheduling conflicts between Fabolous and her, Fabolous and his record label were forced to go with Tamia for the video instead. The video itself has a very early 2000's vibe with Fabolous wearing a lot of jewelry and attire that was considered fresh in the early 2000's (baggy pants and shirt, with fitted cap facing backwards), while also having Tamia wearing minimal clothes while acting like she loves Fabolous. The video also is shot primarily on a beach, putting out a summer vibe to keep the single hot and also make it a summer hit, even though the song itself was released in March. K. D. Aubert also makes a cameo in the video as his loves interest.
