Ben Hogwood, writing for Music OMH, felt that "The use of harp is particularly good, its nicely pointed lines giving a new colour at the end of" the song." Though Drowned In Sound was critical more critical of the song, writing that "it floats down the course of just-fucked-up-enough-to-be-credible chillout pop."
