The Internationale Vereinigung für Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie (International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy) is an organization that seeks to cultivate legal and social philosophy. It was founded in 1909. The present website, [2], will be changed in the course of 2010.

It has sponsored a series of international conferences. The most recent have been

  • 22nd, Granada, Spain, 24–29 May 2005
  • 23rd, Kraków (Cracow), Poland, 1–7 August 2007
  • 24th, Beijing, China, 15–20 September 2009
  • 25th planned for Frankfurt a.M. in Germany, 15–20 August 2011
  • It has national sections in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Venezuela, most of which also sponsor a series of conferences.
