The International League Rookie of the Year Award is an annual award given to the best rookie player in minor league baseball's International League. In 1950, Randy Jackson won the first ever International League Rookie of the Year Award.

First basemen, with 11 winners, have won the most among infielders, followed by third basemen (9), shortstops (6), and second basemen (4). Three catchers have won the award. Ten players who won the award were pitchers. Twenty-four outfielders have won the award, the most of any position.

Seventeen players from the Rochester Red Wings have been selected for the Rookie of the Year Award, more than any other team in the league, followed by the Syracuse Chiefs (7); the Columbus Clippers (6); the Richmond Braves (5); the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons/Yankees/RailRiders and Tidewater/Norfolk Tides (4); the Charlotte Knights, Gwinnett Braves, and Pawtucket Red Sox (3); the Buffalo Bisons, Durham Bulls, Montreal Royals, and Ottawa A's/Columbus Jets (2); and the Havana Sugar Kings, Indianapolis Indians, Louisville Bats, Louisville Colonels, Richmond Virginians, Springfield Cubs, and Toronto Maple Leafs (1).

Ten players from the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees Major League Baseball (MLB) organizations have won the Rookie of the Year Award, more than any others, followed by the Atlanta Braves organization (8); the Boston Red Sox organization (5); the Minnesota Twins, New York Mets, and Philadelphia Phillies organizations (4); the Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals organizations (3); the Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Redlegs/Reds, Philadelphia/Kansas City Athletics, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and Toronto Blue Jays organizations (2); and the Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Florida Marlins, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Washington Nationals organizations (1).
