International Jewish Day is an international day observed annually on March 20, it is a day of global celebration of the Jewish people and culture.

On this day Swiss Catholics also celebrated the "Dies iudaicus" (Jewish Day). The Bishop of the Swiss city Chur has noted: relationship with the people of the Bible also points out that the Christian church's responsibility towards the Jewish community is always timely. The Bishops exhort Christians to show solidarity with the Jewish people and combat anti-Semitism and promote peace and conciliation.
