The International Institute for Inspiration (3I) is an international organization driven by volunteers and researchers using education and civic engagement methodology to combat social and environmental justice issues such as climate change and human-trafficking. First established in the United States of America in 2007, 3I projects including peaceful counter terrorism, eco refugees, and counter child-trafficking have reached Bangladesh, Australia, Solomon Islands and 12 other countries. The social entrepreneurship based projects aim to educate and call to action individuals, communities and nations to promote human rights and social justice for all people. 3I is a registered charity in the state of Colorado and a 501c3 tax exempt entity under applicable Internal Revenue Service tax law and policy.

Today, 3I practitioners and mavericks manage initiatives that reduce child trafficking such as Good Deeds International and Between the Tides, a documentary investigation into environmental refuges in the Sundarban region, India.

In addition to promoting greater public awareness of social justice issues through new initiatives, 3I partners with pre-existing nonprofit organizations, universities, local leaders and international campaigns to coordinate social and environmental change.

Most recently, 3I Founder and Board President Aaron C. Caldwell created the Queensland University of Technology’s first official international service-learning program, Project Solomons in the Solomon Islands through the Creative Industries Faculty. In 2009, 3I is creating a drive-around-the-world campaign using an eco friendly, interactive multimedia 4wd truck through its creative counter child-trafficking appendage, Good Deeds International.
