The International Forum for Rights and Security (IFFRAS) is a non-profit international think tank with headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and offices in Brussels, Geneva, Ottawa and Washington.

Overview

IFFRAS maintains that from their very conception, the United Nations Charter, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, have represented an implicit and unyielding recognition of the immeasurable importance of human security to the most fundamental concept of inalienable human rights.

IFFRAS believes that the predominant emerging human security paradigm model brings focus to the importance of regional and international stability in conjunction with the need to prevent state failure as well as the requirement that all states adhere to the generally recognized principles of fundamental human rights.

IFFRAS was started in 2011 and maintains headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
