Profiles

The International Christian Academy of Nagoya (ICAN) is an international school located on the outskirts of Nagoya, Japan in the city of Nagakute. It was founded in 1998 as the Christian Academy of Nagoya. ICAN has been managed by the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS) since 2000.

ICAN is a international school of approximately 70 students offering pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Class sizes are kept relatively small, despite combining grades and typically range from 5 - 15 students. ICAN uses North American curriculum and is accredited by both the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

ICAN participates in a limited number of sports including basketball and volleyball at the Intermediate and Secondary levels.
