The Institute for Liberal Studies (founded in 2006) is a non-profit educational Institute focused on Canada's classical liberal history and tradition.
Background
The Institute hosts educational and policy seminars, including the Liberty Summer Seminar, and seminars on campuses throughout Canada.
The Liberty Summer Seminar is an annual, outdoor, two-day seminar held in Orono, Ontario since 2001. It has featured speakers like Dr. Jacques Chaoulli, Member of Parliament Scott Reid, Marc Emery, Ezra Levant, Michael Walker, Lawrence Reed, Brian Lee Crowley, among others.
