Insha Malik also known as Insha is a 14-year-old student from Sedow Shopian who lost her sight in both eyes due to Pellet Gun firing in Disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir in 2016 Kashmir Unrest on July 12, 2016. She was hit by nearly 100 pellets while she, according to her family, was inside their house. She is now suffering from a deadly infection, which has affected her brain and is admitted in Eye Care Centre at Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi.
Insha Also shifted to Mumbai, after intervention of Borderless World Foundation's Adhik Kadam, approached Dr Natarajan who treated her in Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital in Mumbai. Insha wanted to become a Doctor but now is lying in bed completely. blinded.
