"Innocent Love" was the fourth international single released from singer Sandra in time for the summer of 1986. It appeared in 1986 on her second studio album and later in a remixed version on her 2006 remix album Reflections - Reproduced Hits. The song was released as a lead single from her second studio album in June 1986 by Virgin Records. "Innocent Love" was written by Hubert Kemmler, U. Herter, S. Muller and Klaus Hirschburger and produced by Michael Cretu and Armand Volker.

The song became another hit for Sandra. In Germany, the song peaked within top 20 at #14. In Italy, Norway and France the song entered the top 10 and reached #7, 4 and 10, respectively. The single was a big hit throughout Europe, but in the United Kingdom it was not released as a single.
