Indonesia sent a delegation to compete at the 1980 Summer Paralympics in Arnhem, Netherlands. Its athletes finished twenty eighth in the overall medal count.
The two gold medal winners were Yan Soebiyanto in lawn bowls and R. S. Arlen for Men's Featherweight weightlifting -57 kg amputee. Bronze medalists were lawn bowls C pair Moenali and Ismail Yamin, and D pair R. S. Arlen and Safri Tanjung.
