Independence Wealth Management Ltd (IWM) is an external asset manager serving individuals and trusts mainly in the European Union area, offering outcome-oriented ‘optimal’ investment performance.

IWM adopts an open architecture for its clients, negotiating terms on behalf of clients from stockbrokers and private banks. IWM does not accept sales agency positions, nor does IWM sell in-house products.

The company is notable for designing a course for individuals to safely invest directly and in the process dispense with the services and charges of IFAs, life companies and fund managers; and to teach a method for choosing world markets that are growing (asset allocation) with appropriate risk; with the result of achieving optimum growth.

IWM forecasted the banking crisis in 2008, and continues to brief clients on the continuing world economic instabilities and possible solutions.

IWM is authorised by the United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for investment business. IWM holds a Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) permission to meet and give 'investment advice' to individuals in most EU countries.
