Produced by Pedro Damián, it is the first single off the album. RBD confirmed the release of the song at the press conference of the "RBD Day" on October 4, 2007. The song was released to radio stations on October 8, 2007 and has won an Orgullosamente Latino Award 2008 for the Best Latin Video. Critical reception

"Inalcanzable" was generally well received by music critics. Rhapsody complimented the song for being a " beautiful and sweet collective ballad." Rhapsody also commented this album "could signal the start of a more mature phase of RBD".

Music video

The video was directed by Esteban Madrazo and shot on November 7, 2007. The video was filmed in an old house at Colonia San Rafael, Mexico City and was shot in twenty hours.

The video premiered on December 5 through Estreno Mundial, but leaked onto the Internet the day before, December 4, 2007.

The video features multiple special effects and shows the RBD members going through a tough time, where very special people come to give them courage and support. These very special people are RBD's fans who reflect the message the group wants to give out.
