inMarket is a mobile-at-retail marketing platform and app developer based in Venice, California. inMarket's Mobile to Mortar beacon platform is the largest in the world, and the company reports reaching over 46.2 million shoppers in stores across the U.S. inMarket's beacon-enabled app platform includes the CheckPoints mobile shopping rewards app, the List Ease shopping list creator, Conde Nast's Epicurious recipe and shopping app and the Viggle rewards app to name a few. inMarket's clients include Coca-Cola, Heineken, Nestle and P&G.

History

inMarket was founded in 2010 as CheckPoints by veteran entrepreneurial brothers Todd and Mark Dipaola. The Dipaolas had previously founded and sold search marketing company Vantage Media for over $100 million in 2007.

In July 2012, inMarket released its second app, List Ease, a cloud-based synchronized shopping list. inMarket CEO Todd Dipaola was featured on the cover of Entrepreneur Magazine in August 2012.

In March 2013, inMarket was selected to be a part of Mondelez International's Mobile Futures project, and was paired with belVita breakfast biscuits.

In January 2014, inMarket launched its Mobile to Mortar platform, reportedly the world's first multi-retailer iBeacon network in grocery stores.

In June 2014, inMarket opened a second office in New York City, reportedly due to rapid growth.
