Iceland, also known as Cuba, was a former settlement in Nevada County, California, located between Boca and the Nevada state line. The region is situated by the Truckee River, 9 mi (14 km) from Truckee.

It had a post office during the period of 1897 to 1923, and also a Southern Pacific Railroad station was established about 1902.

Iceland got its name because of the ice that was cut and stored there. Several main ice companies dominated the area. The Mountain Ice Company, the People's Ice Company, the Union Ice Company, and the Floriston Ice Company.
