Ice hockey at the 2015 Winter Universiade was held from February 3 to 14 at the Palacio Municipal de Deportes de Granada and Pabellón de Mulhacen in Granada.
Preliminary round
Eleven participating teams were placed in the following three groups. After playing a round-robin, the teams ranked 6th to 11th had to play a play-off to advance to the quarterfinals whereas the 5 best teams receive a bye to the quarterfinals
A team receives 3 points for a win, 2 points for an overtime/shootout win and 1 point for a shootout loss.
