The songs were taken from the artists set at Koko, Camden Town London, UK as part of the iTunes Festival 2008. Gemma played on the same night as The Pretenders.

Background
Gemma Hayes performed on July 30, 2008 at Koko, Camden Town for the iTunes Festival 2008. She supported The Pretenders. It had earlier been announced that all performances from the month-long festival would be made available for download exclusively on all 22 iTunes Stores.
The subsequently released EP on August 11 contained songs taken from the artist's set. However, the release omitted several songs from her live set.
