The IEEE Industry Standards and Technology Organization (ISTO) is a federation of programs that accelerates and extends technical standards and technology development and adoption activities for technology industry consortia.

ISTO was established in January 1999 as a global, not-for-profit corporation [501(c)(6)]. The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the founding member of ISTO. Affiliation with the IEEE and the IEEE Standards Association is maintained through formal agreements.

Member programs

ISTO offers program management, marketing, conformity assessment, accounting, and information technology support to technical groups and consortia. The following organizations are supported by ISTO:
