Chart performance
"I Will Remember You" peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Grant's first single from the album to not reach the top ten. However, the single became Grant's fifth consecutive top five single on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart, peaking at No. 2. Outside of the U.S., the song had modest success in Europe [France and Japan] but it was a success in many Latin American countries including Guatemala where it reached the top fifteen.
