"I Am the Cosmos" (Chris Bell Homage)" is a single released in 1992 by Munster Records in Spain. Each side of the single features a cover of the song, "I Am the Cosmos", originally written and recorded by Chris Bell, guitarist of the band, Big Star. Gigolo Aunts recorded the A-side, and the Posies recorded the B-side. The single was released contemporaneously with the belated release of the Chris Bell album, I Am the Cosmos, by Rykodisc. In 1993, Alex Chilton invited two members of the Posies to sit in for Bell during Big Star's brief reunion jaunt.
