History

In 1935 Louis Armstrong had it as a Top Ten hit. The song was perhaps best remembered in the 1936 Our Gang (Little Rascals) short, The Pinch Singer, when it was performed by Darla Hood and Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer (on separate occasions).
