Hylophilus is a genus of bird in the Vireonidae family. Established by Coenraad Jacob Temminck in 1822, it contains the following species:

Grey-eyed greenlet (Hylophilus amaurocephalus)

Brown-headed greenlet (Hylophilus brunneiceps)

Scrub greenlet (Hylophilus flavipes)

Olivaceous greenlet (Hylophilus olivaceus)

The name Hylophilus is cbomposed of the Greek words for "forest" or "woodland" (hulē) and "-loving" (philos, from phileō, meaning "to love").
