Hyllus Maris (born 25 December 1933 in Echuca - died 4 August 1986 in Kew, Victoria) was an Aboriginal Australian activist, poet and educator. Maris lived with her parents on the Cummeragunja Reserve until they walked off in protest about its management. A house at Melbourne Girls' College in Richmond, Victoria is named in her honour.
