HY-P3000 (HY = Hua-Yun, 华云) is a Chinese micro air vehicle (MAV) developed by China Huayun Group Co., Ltd. (Huayun, 中国华云气象科技集团公司). HY-P3000 is primarily designed as a weather reconnaissance UAV. HY-P3000 is equipped with GPS and is capable of real time transmission of information gathered, such as imagery and other information collected by onboard equipment. Although developed by a firm specializes in meteorological equipment and intended for meteorological missions, HY-P3000 is also capable of carrying out military and law enforcement missions, but it’s not confirmed if it has been adopted by any military or law enforcement agencies.
