The Howmeh District of Azarshahr County (Persian: بخش حومه شهرستان آذرشهر, meaning "suburbs") is a district (bakhsh) that functions as the central district in Azarshahr County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 64,796, in 17,125 families. The District has one city: Azarshahr. The District has four rural districts (dehestan): Qazi Jahan Rural District, Qebleh Daghi Rural District, Shiramin Rural District, and Yengejeh Rural District.
