Houston's Funniest Person Contest is an annual competition held by The Laff Stop in Houston, Texas. Its format may vary, but is usually held as a series of rounds, once a week, where a number of comedians are eliminated each show. The Laff Stop closed in December 2009, and the Contest was moved to the Laff Spot beginning in 2010.
