History

The origin of the Wróblewski family was in Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. There's no confirmation which Wróblewski got the Lubicz coat of arms first, but the oldest known member of the family was Wincenty Kazimierz Wróblewski. He lived in XVIII century and was acquittance of Tadeusz Kościuszko, where he fought alongside him in the Kościuszko Uprising together with son, Antoni Józef Wróblewski.

Antoni Wróblewski was the heir of the family. He lived in Kraków, where he married Klementyna (née Tyszkiewicz) with which he had at least three children, including:

  • Antoni Wróblewski
  • Walenty Wróblewski
  • Wincenty Wróblewski
  • Notable members

  • Stanisław Wróblewski, lawyer
  • Władysław Wróblewski, politician and Prime Minister of Poland
