Hancavičy Regional House of Crafts (Belarusian: Ганцавіцкі раённы Дом рамёстваў) — was established in 1997 to study, revive and develop folk crafts.

History
House of Crafts works since 1997 and groups artisans of Hancavičy district who work in the field of traditional crafts. There are 15 types of traditional Belarusian crafts and 12 types of modern arts and crafts the House of Crafts works with.

Activities
Research work: expeditions around the district to gather materials about crafts and their current state. A list of artisans and tradition bearers who are still engaged in traditional crafts is kept. Exhibits for the collection of authentic examples of folk weaving, embroidery and other types of local crafts are collected.
Methodical fund: the House of Crafts provides methodical and practical help to rural culture institutions in organization and conducting of workshops in arts and crafts, collects and classifies materials on the modern types of arts and crafts, informs leaders of study groups, cultural workers and all interested parties.
To popularize folk arts the House of Crafts organizes exhibitions of works of artisans who are engaged in weaving, embroidery, lace, wicker-works, woodworking, etc. Both personal exhibitions and thematic exhibitions devoted to certain crafts are organized. The House of Crafts together with local artisans participate in district, regional, republican and international festivals, contests, fairs and celebrations. The work of the House of Crafts is followed by medias.
Weaving, embroidery and belt weaving groups work under the House of Crafts. Amateur club “Bahač” groups adult artisans. In 2011 youth amateur society “Ethnographer” was created.
Collection
A rich collection of traditional ručnik and items of local clothes has been gathered in the House of Crafts since its foundation. The collection of woven ručnik numbers nearly 50 items. Collection of female shirts is the most precious one among the items of traditional clothes.
