The Hotel St. Georges was a Hostel on Rue Michelet Avenue in Algiers. It was a widely popular hotel for wealthy spinsters touring the Mediterranean Sea. During World War II it served as the headquarters for the French Navy. Hotel St. Georges served as a meeting place for French Admiral Jean-Francois Darlan and American General Mark Clark.
