Hoshea Friedman

Hoshe Friedman is a brigadier general in the IDF. His father was Rebbe Yisrael Friedman, the Pashkaner Rebbe, and his mother is Rebbetzin Tziporah, daughter of the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz.

He was born in 1959 in Reshafim, a kibbutz in northeastern Israel. When he was 3 years old, his family moved to Sa'ad, a religious kibbutz in the Negev desert.

He served in the Golani Brigade.

He is married and has five children.
