Genus Horolodectes

Horolodectes sunae is a prehistoric eutherian mammal species of uncertain taxonomic position, recently discovered in Paleocene formations in northern Alberta, Canada. The generic name means "hourglass biter" in Greek in direct reference of the hourglass-shape of its teeth.
