Hongshuwan South Station (simplified Chinese: 红树湾南站; traditional Chinese: 紅樹灣南站; pinyin: Hóngshùwānnán Zhàn; Jyutping: Hung4 Syu6 Waan1 Naam4 Zaam6; literally: "Mangrove Bay South Station") is an interchange station of Shenzhen Metro Line 11 and Line 9. It was opened on 28 June 2016, the same time as Line 11, whilst the Line 9 was opened on 28 October 2016.
Interchange with Line 2
In order to go to the nearby Hongshuwan Station(Chinese: 紅樹灣站) on Line 2(also known as Shekou Line), passengers need to first exit from Hongshuwan South station and walk for about 15 minutes. In comparison, for the interchange between Tsim Sha Tsui Station and East Tsim Sha Tsui Station on the MTR in Hong Kong, there are several underground passages and automatic walkways in the passages for passengers to transfer from one station to another.
