Hong Kong Noodle Shop is a Chinese restaurant in Los Angeles, United States. It was founded in 1916 by Canton natives Jung David and his brother-in-law, Lester Soo Hoo, who had immigrated to Los Angeles.

The Hong Kong Noodle Shop is usually associated with the fortune cookie, as its founders, Jung David and Lester Soo Hoo, claimed that they created the fortune cookie a few years after opening their noodle shop. They said that they were concerned about the paupers wandering outside his restaurant and decided to give them his cookies free of charge; however, to this day this claim has never been proven.
