Homochitto is a ghost town in Issaquena County, Mississippi.
Homochitto was a plantation located directly on the Mississippi River.
Homochitto Plantation was owned by Stephen Duncan. In 1865, following the abolition of slavery, a number of freedman were listed at the Homochitto Plantation.
Nothing remains of the former settlement.
