Holgate Shoal (53°59′S 38°16′W) is an area of shoals lying east of the Ramp Rocks and 1.5 nautical miles (3 km) northwest of Main Island in the Willis Islands, South Georgia. It was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for Able Seaman Ralph A. Holgate of HMS Owen (K640), which first charted the shoal in 1961.
