Hjelmkalven Point (71°40′S 26°22′E) is a rocky point on the north side of Vesthjelmen Peak, at the east side of the mouth of Byrdbreen in the Sør Rondane Mountains of Antarctica. It was mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1946 from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936–37, and in 1957 from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946–47. It was named Hjelmkalven by the Norwegians.
