Hippocampus biocellatus, the false-eyed seahorse, is a medium-sized species of seahorse that appears to be restricted to the Shark Bay region of Western Australia. It is listed in Appendix II of CITES and in the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
