Hildegard (crater)

Hildegard is an ancient impact crater in the southern far side of the Moon, northwest of the larger Planck.

The crater's name was adopted by the IAU in February 2016.

Satellite craters

By convention these features are identified on lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater midpoint that is closest to Nijland.
