Hijos De Rebeldes is a remix of Rebelde Way and Rebelde but with a mix of new details and cultures. Some of the Rebelde cast members will return for the project. Most characters haven't been chosen, only the six members of RBD.
Anahi's character and Alfonso Herrera's character, Mia and Miguel have married, and have adopted a daughter and had one son of their own.
Dulce Maria's character and Christopher Uckerman's character, Roberta and Diego had just married, with a daughter of their own.
Maite Perroni's character, Lupita Fernandez and boyfriend, Santos Echagüe played by Derrick James have a son of their own (but still haven't married).
Christian Chávez's character, Giovanni Mendez, is dating and still looking for his true love.
They all decided to send their children to the same school they had attended, the Elite Way School.
